Soft light. Slow mornings. Bubble baths, oversized shirts, champagne, half-undone beds and the quiet unfolding of becoming.
This is not just a photoshoot.
It’s about learning how to create a boudoir experience that women will carry with them long after the gallery is delivered.
Because boudoir has never really been about lingerie.
It’s about being SEEN.
About reconnecting with parts of themselves they may have forgotten beneath motherhood, relationships, careers, heartbreak, survival, expectations or simply the noise of everyday life.
For some women it’s reclamation. For others it’s celebration. Confidence. Healing. Freedom. A reminder of who they are beneath everything the world has asked them to be.
And that experience matters just as much as the photographs themselves.
Inspired by cinematic femininity, luxury fashion editorials and deeply honest storytelling, Becoming Her explores how to create imagery that feels elevated, emotional and deeply personal while guiding women through an experience where they feel safe, empowered and truly themselves.
Set within beautifully curated space THE RITZ CARLTON — textured interiors, soft natural light, a dream bathtub over looking the city lights, music drifting through the room, champagne, movement and quiet intimacy — we’ll explore how to move beyond “posing” and into genuine connection.
How to gently direct without controlling.
How to observe personality instead of forcing performance.
How to create space for softness, playfulness, sensuality, confidence, vulnerability and emotion to naturally unfold.
Because no two women are ever the same.
Some are loud. Some are quiet. Some are wildly confident. Some arrive terrified.
And the magic is learning how to uncover who she truly is and reflect that back to her through your imagery.
My approach has always been about soft guidance, emotional safety and creating an experience where women feel deeply held throughout the process. An experience where they leave differently than when they arrived.
Not because boudoir “fixed” them.
But because for a moment, they allowed themselves to fully exist within their own story.
Creating Editorial Boudoir Imagery Without Losing Authenticity
One of the biggest challenges in boudoir photography is balancing beauty with honesty.
Too much direction and she disconnects from herself. Too little guidance and vulnerability can quickly turn into uncertainty.
This session explores how to create imagery that feels elevated, editorial and intentional while still allowing women to feel comfortable, safe and genuinely seen within the experience.
Because boudoir is rarely just about the photographs.
It’s about confidence. Reconnection. Celebration. Healing. Freedom.
Throughout the workshop we’ll explore how to:
- Create editorial imagery without making women feel overly posed - Use soft guidance and movement instead of rigid direction - Read personality and emotion in real time - Build trust and emotional safety within a session - Use light, styling and environment to elevate storytelling - Blend intimacy, fashion-inspired imagery and honest connection seamlessly
The goal is never to manufacture moments.
It’s to create an experience where women feel something real.
Together we’ll explore how to create imagery that feels cinematic, sensual and beautifully curated while remaining deeply connected to the woman living it.
